It all started with a skincare brand

A few years ago, Sid (Co-Founder and CEO) received a frustrated call from Jerry (Co-Founder and COO). Their online business, Microderm GLO, was experiencing explosive growth, with revenue doubling each year. To keep pace, they realized the need to significantly expand their team and decided to offload the one part of their business that they had perfected and systematized: Amazon advertising management.
In 2020, Microderm GLO was recognized as the #5 fastest-growing company in the Midwest, and their Amazon PPC systems were efficiently managing over $120,000 per month in ad spend with an ACoS of 18.71%.
After a rigorous interviewing process, they decided to entrust their Amazon PPC management to a ‘top agency,’ billed as the ‘world’s largest advertising platform.


The painful journey
The co-founder of the agency took on the role of their account manager. From April to August 2021, the agency’s technology significantly undermined their advertising efforts. By the end of their four-month relationship, advertising spend had plummeted to $36,000 per month, and ACoS had skyrocketed to 45.78%. The total estimated lost revenue amounted to $2,094,541.59.
Over the years, several highly regarded agencies were consulted but ultimately failed to match the systems Sid & Jerry had originally developed.
The best of these agencies, while initially promising, had a pricing model that led to conflicts of interest and encouraged unethical practices. Additionally, during their engagement with another agency, Jerry identified multiple bugs in the software that hindered effective control over some fundamental bidding strategies (aka 92% ACOS).
Bringing it full circle

In 2023, Sid and Jerry realized they had gained valuable knowledge from looking under the hood of these ‘top agencies,’ learning their winning strategies and trade secrets. They decided to rebuild their original systems, which had outperformed those agencies, and integrate the best of what they had learned throughout their journey into one platform.
As we set out to solve the same problems for Amazon sellers everywhere, we realized that focusing on transparency, alignment, and achieving Peak ROAS wasn’t just a better way to save time and money—it was a smarter way to do business. We’ve since developed a machine learning platform that utilizes Amazon’s AI, codified modules, and dynamic buyer-intent strategies within our 5-Pillar PPC Framework. This modern approach transforms how Amazon sellers use paid advertising to scale their businesses profitably.
